88.7 The Pulse Launches First Annual Rock-A-Thon Fundraiser to Support Student-Run Radio

88.7 The Pulse (KVIT FM), the student-run radio station at the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT), is proud to announce its First Annual Rock-A-Thon, a 48-hour live broadcast fundraising event. The Rock-A-Thon will take place from 3 PM on Friday, May 2 to 3 PM on Sunday, May 4.

This high-energy weekend event will feature live DJ segments, alumni appearances, celebrity shoutouts, exciting giveaways, and nonstop student-driven programming—all aimed at rallying community support and raising essential funds for the station. Listeners can tune in online at 887thepulse.com or through the 88.7 The Pulse AZ app, available for both Apple and Android devices.

Student DJ, Kairis Boyles along with the entire 88.7 The Pulse morning student team made the official announcement during her morning show, adding excitement and energy to the launch of this groundbreaking event.
